6 Year-Old Boy Gives His Allowance Money To Support Haiti

“It’s not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving.” Mother Teresa

(Brooks, 6 years old and his older brother Russell, 10 years / From Davis County, Utah)

After watching the Documentary "Rising From The Rubble", Brooks was touched by the Haitian children in the video and felt that he needed to help them. He asked his parents if he could use his allowance money this week to give to Williamson for Haiti. Brooks was able to donate all of his $5 to support our Mentoring Center in Haiti. His small contribution of $5 will help purchase 2 blocks for the Mentoring Center. Like we always say; "Small efforts never go unnoticed." We admire the faith, desire, determination, and compassion these two brothers had to help the youth of Haiti. May we all be like Brooks who has taught us to help those in needs and to give back to your community.

Your contributions to this cause count! Contact us today to learn how you can support our organization.

This year we have a strong desire to raise 150K to help build a Mentoring Center in Haiti and you can help make this happen. Whether you start a fundraiser on your birthday, plan an event to raise money, or you invite a friend to do it- Your small efforts will make a huge difference in the lives of the people we serve in Haiti.
